This Privacy Policy explains how CurveRank handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

CurveRank collects the data needed to provide its features, operate subscriptions, improve reliability, and understand product performance.

Account Data

If you create an account or sign in, CurveRank may collect your email address, username, display name, account identifier, and sign-in provider details.

Profile and Garage Data

CurveRank may collect profile details such as your city, country, vehicle information, and optional profile, garage, or vehicle photos.

Trip Data

CurveRank records trip-related data such as route points, timestamps, distance, duration, average speed, top speed, braking events, stop counts, motion-based trip analytics, leaderboard metrics, and optional trip notes.

Location and Motion Data

CurveRank uses location and motion data to record drives, improve trip recaps, and support trip analytics.

Subscription and Purchase Data

If you use paid features, CurveRank may receive subscription, purchase, entitlement, restoration, and billing status data through Apple and RevenueCat.

Analytics and Attribution Data

CurveRank may collect app interaction events, app session data, referral and paywall events, device or app identifiers, attribution identifiers where available and permitted, diagnostics, and performance data through analytics and attribution providers.

Session Replay Data

CurveRank may use limited session replay analytics to understand app usability and fix product issues. Sensitive account, authentication, onboarding, invite, and referral screens are excluded from session replay.

2. How We Use Data

Data is used to operate the app and provide requested features, including:

• trip logging and trip history
• route and recap generation
• profile, garage, and sync features
• rankings, friends, and community features
• subscription management and purchase restoration
• referral, paywall, and entitlement handling
• analytics, product improvement, and conversion measurement
• security, reliability, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention

3. Data Linking and Tracking

Some data is linked to your account or device when you sign in or use synced features, such as account data, profile data, garage data, subscription status, and leaderboard-related data.

CurveRank does not sell your personal data.

CurveRank does not display third-party ads. CurveRank may use attribution and analytics services to measure app installs, subscriptions, referrals, and marketing campaign performance. Where platform rules require consent for tracking or advertising identifiers, CurveRank will request consent and honor your device privacy settings.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Full trip history is stored on your device by default.

If you sign in or use synced features, certain account, profile, garage, image, subscription, referral, and eligible leaderboard summary data may be stored on backend services used by CurveRank.

Data is kept only as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and handle user requests.

5. Third-Party Services

CurveRank may use the following service providers to operate, improve, and secure the app:

• Supabase for backend infrastructure, authentication, storage, and synced data
• RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement status
• Apple for in-app purchases, subscription billing, and platform services
• Mixpanel for product analytics and limited session replay
• Adjust for attribution and campaign performance measurement

6. Your Choices

You can:

• manage location and motion permissions in your device settings
• manage tracking permission in your device settings where available
• manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings
• request account deletion by contacting the support email below

7. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect data handled by CurveRank.

8. Children's Privacy

CurveRank is not intended for children under the age of 13.

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Any changes will be posted on this page.
